Ecommerce

Stores that load fast and check out faster. Built to scale with your catalog.

What this is

The short version

Most online stores that underperform do not have a checkout problem. They have a findability, trust or fulfilment problem.

Sometimes it is a theme that has aged badly. Sometimes it is product descriptions and tags that nobody can search. Sometimes the site is fine on a laptop and painful on a phone, which is where the customer actually is.

And often the storefront is the healthy part. If your inventory is not tied to your site you will oversell, and no amount of design fixes the email you then have to send.

Run through this list

Before you spend anything

Most stores fail two or three of these, and none of them are expensive to fix.

  • 01Is the store genuinely easy to navigate, or do you know where everything is because you built it?
  • 02Is it properly usable on a phone, not just technically responsive?
  • 03Do your product descriptions and tags match what a customer would actually type?
  • 04Are you putting your loyal customers’ reviews where new buyers can see them?
  • 05Is your inventory tied to the site, so you can manage both and never oversell?
  • 06Do you have reporting that tells you something you would act on?
  • 07Have you checked your competitors’ pricing lately, and are you still competitive?

What it costs

Scope & price

You tell us the budget. We build the plan to fit inside it, then set goals for what gets upgraded in later stages.

Everything is staged and everything is realistic. You should never be surprised by an invoice, and you should never be paying for phase three while phase one is still broken.

A lot of the time it is two days of work, two hours of training, and we walk away. You get it optimised and you get a plan.

Straight answers

Ecommerce
  • Which platform should I sell on?

The right platform depends on your product catalog, fulfillment complexity, and growth goals. Shopify is usually ideal for straightforward retail scale, WooCommerce works best when coupled with heavy content needs, and custom headless builds suit complex multi-warehouse operations. We recommend the platform that aligns with how you actually operate.

  • Can you migrate my existing store without losing orders or rankings?

Orders, customer accounts, and product data migrate completely without downtime. On rankings: any major platform or URL structural change introduces a brief search re-indexing period. We minimize ranking impact by executing comprehensive 301 redirect mapping and metadata transfer, but anyone promising zero temporary rank fluctuation on a full store migration is selling a myth.

  • How do you handle payments, tax and shipping?

We integrate proven payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, and Square for fast, PCI-compliant checkout. For tax compliance and shipping, we connect automated tax tools (TaxJar, Avalara) and direct carrier APIs (USPS, UPS, FedEx) to calculate real-time rates at checkout automatically.
